RAM Truck Maintenance Tips for Cordele Drivers

RAM Truck maintenance is as important as keeping the fuel tank full. If you let your tank run dry, you’re not going anywhere. It’s the same with not maintaining your RAM Truck. When you purchased or leased your RAM 1500 or 2500, you received the most up-to-date maintenance schedule. This schedule includes both time and mileage intervals for each type of service. These intervals are usually every six months, or between 5,000 and 8,000 miles – whichever comes first.

There are services that owners can perform themselves, and many that require the special equipment and technology found at our state-of-the-art service center.

  • At each service interval, check hoses, brakes, belts, fluid levels and perform tire rotation and oil change.
  • At 8,000 miles, change oil and filter, rotate tires and check fluid levels.
  • At 20,000 miles, check and adjust tie rods, brakes and front suspension. Replace if needed.
  • At 30,000 miles, replace cabin and engine filter, inspect CV/Universal joints, the transfer case fluid and the axles.

Check your owner’s manual for a more complete list of maintenance intervals. When you bring your RAM Truck into our service center, our technicians can help you understand what your truck will need. Be sure to ask about any special service offers and coupons to help with your next service appointment.
