RAM welcomed the new 2022 RAM 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition this summer.
The RAM 1500, the most awarded light truck in America, is set to add a model to its lineup. The new model, dubbed Sandblast and built on the high-end TRX model, is set to reach RAM dealerships this summer.
RAM partnered with Ken Block, an influential racing enthusiast, to unveil the Sandblast Edition. Ken Block did what he loves to do well, race, as he put the new Sandblast Edition through its agility and speed, and everyone could tell his satisfaction at the end.
“Our customers want to stand out from the crowd, and the new RAM 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition allows them to do just that, while offering the segment’s top combination of performance, capability, and technology,” said Mike Koval Jr., RAM brand CEO – Stellantis.
The new RAM does more than increase the number of models in the 1500 light truck lineup. It gives customers more opportunity to personalize the truck they love so much through a more comprehensive selection of unique features right from the factory.
The TRX Sandblast Edition builds on the vast TRX Level 2 Equipment Group. In terms of body modification, the new Sandblast includes a unique Mojave Sand exterior color and graphics, unique 18-inch all-black Beadlock capable wheels, dual pane panoramic sunroof, spray-in Bedliner, cargo tie-downs, bed step, and an LED cab-mounted brake light.
The interior is not left out as it comes fitted with a Light Frost accent stitching, an embroidered “TRX” seat back logo, carbon fiber accents, leather and carbon-fiber flat-bottom steering wheel, a special center console badge, a head-up display, and a screen displaying TRX in Mojave Sand.
Additional features include adaptive cruise control, Lane Keep Assist, and pedestrian emergency braking, in addition to the standard safety features across the RAM 1500 lineup.
